How do I start up the service?
It's easy to start up service. In most instances, all it takes is a phone call and about two minutes later... you're ready to go. Everything can be done over the phone even paying for your service in advance.
We are gone most of the day ('cause its hard to see at night) so don't be afraid to leave a message on the answering machine. Just be sure to leave your home phone number and if you want, your work number. We will attempt to call you the same day!

Do I have to be there when you're there?
No. Most people work during the day and find it difficult to arrange a time to be home. However, if you want to be there the first day, for whatever reason, we can arrange a time to meet you and your dog. Just let us know!
Obstacles to a perfect clean up?
The main obstacle we encounter at Poo Patrol is excessively long grass. Weeds, leaves and uncut grass make it difficult for us to locate and scoop up dog waste. Other than this we need easy access to your yard.....jumping fences with a skirt on just aint ladylike and being whacked with a blunt object by your neighbor thinking were stalkers isnt much fun either.!.
Can I leave my dog in the yard?
Yes, unless you know your dog is a ruthless man eater. (We'll be sure to send a woman) Most of the time the only problem we have with dogs is that they want to be petted and jump up on us. They know which pocket we keep the dog biscuits in! If your dog is on a special diet, or you just don't want us to give them a treat, let us know. We use only high quality, healthy and nutritious dog biscuits.
We love dogs or we wouldnt be in this business. However, there are some cases when a dog will not let us in the yard.
If you know that your dog is not friendly with strangers, have a dog who attempts to escape when the gate is opened, or have a dog that will not allow us to clean the yard, then we ask that you restrain or confine the dog on your service day.
We feel that this policy protects the welfare of the pet and those working in your yard.
We WILL NOT service yards with breeds that have a reputation for hostility and aggression such as rottweilers and pit bulls. The only exception to this rule is if the pet is off the premises during service and is unable to see workers in the yard. The pet MUST be off the property. You will be required to sign an agreement to this policy if you own such a pet.
Do I have to sign a contract?
No, if you need to cancel service for the up coming week, all we ask is that you call at least a day in advance of the service.
We only ask that you sign a service agreement.. Nothing too legally binding, but simply giving Poo Patrol permission to be on your property to pick up dog poop and to outline our policies and procedures. There is no minimum service, and you can cancel anytime with a phone call.
What is your satisfaction guarantee?
It is very important to us and our business to have satisfied customers. We promise to do our best job possible, but if for some reason you are not satisfied, let us know immediately. We will be happy to re-clean your yard that day or no later than the next day (weather permitting).
Our guarantee only applies if the condition of the yard is kept in an orderly fashion. If you let your grass grow more than 4" tall, we will not be able to see the dog waste and guarantee our work. If you have an accumulation of debris, such as trash, leaves, rocks, sticks, etc..., we will not be able to guarantee our work. Please keep your yards manicured.
